Miami will host the annual book fair, and neighboring communities such as Hialeah are invited to attend.
The Miami Book Fair will take place at Miami Dade College on the Wolfson Campus. The event will offer in-person activities as well as virtual programs. One of the highlights of the event is “Evenings with Authors,” which features conversations with dozens of writers.
The event attracts over 500 authors and hundreds of visitors. Programs include readings, panels, and lectures, along with a street fair.
Children’s Alley is designed to interest the younger visitors with free Books and fun activities. The Porch will feature live music to entertain the crowds. The Street Fair includes vendors offering Books for sale, along with other treasures.
Vendors often distribute Business Cards. Business Cards contain contact information that be used for future sales. They are designed and created by local printing services.
Sponsorship opportunities are available, as well as vendor applications, via the event website. Volunteers are needed to assist with the book fair and may inquire online.
The Miami Book Fair will run from November 14 through November 21 starting at 7:00 pm each day. The price is $10 for adults. For ages 12-18, admission is $5.
