The annual City of Hialeah Health and Literacy Fair is being held next month. It is a presentation of Vitas Healthcare and Hialeah Public Libraries.
The fair is held to celebrate National Literacy Month, which encourages reading and helps to raise reading levels for children and adults. Many communities all over the country hold similar events during the month.
There will be book readings by authors, amusement rides and games outside, and food trucks in attendance. There are also set to be arts and crafts activities throughout the day. It is also likely that several publishers will be on hand to showcase their newest Books, as well as several community organizations that are dedicated to literacy in the city. The health component will also feature information about certain conditions and how to live a healthier lifestyle.
In the past, well-known published authors have appeared at the fair and there has been musical entertainment and favorite literary character. There is every chance that this year’s fair will feature the similar offerings.
