Greeley workshop planned for realtors
A learning opportunity is being presented to Greeley's community of realtors, and it will help them make sure veterans have access to the home ownership supports available to them.
The Removing Barriers to Veteran Home Ownership class will be offered by Unified Title Company as part of its continuing education initiative. It will explore the various Veterans Affairs (VA) programs and any recent changes that have been made, and it will be facilitated by Lisa Ramsey, who has a background in the subject matter at hand.
Learners in the workshop will discover how VA appraisals may be different from other real estate loans, and underwriting will be on the roster for discussion as well. Seller fees and down payment issues will be reviewed, and the goal is for everyone to walk away with a better understanding of the topic so they can communicate this to buyers and sellers alike. Asking questions will be encouraged, and continuing education credits may be available.
Employers in many sectors offer continuing education opportunities for their staff. Learning materials for those activities can be sourced from area stationery printers.
The Removing Barriers to Veteran Home Ownership workshop will be on offer on April 5. It will begin at 4:00 pm and wrap up at 6:00 pm at 1275 58th Avenue, and its registration system can be found online.
