Greeley welcomes new brewer

Downtown Greeley saw the opening of Green Earth Brewing Company, which is planning its grand opening for today. The location had its soft opening earlier this month.

The brewery is located next to Zoe’s Café and Events, at 725 10th Street. The company, which focuses on sustainability, has six taps, which range from a New England IPA to its own signature black ale. Green Earth Brewing Co will be open from Tuesday through Sunday, and closed on Mondays.

Scott Pell and Doug Hansen, owners of the business, signed their lease back in March. They hope to eventually find a way to brew their beer on site with wind or solar power. In their beer, they primarily use ingredients sourced locally, from northern Colorado when possible, to minimize their carbon footprint. Nearly everything used in the location is either reclaimed or refurbished.

New restaurants and similar service companies often look for a number of printing services, both as they open and as their business evolves. Menus, branded Promotional Products, and paper items are all powerful tools for creating a brand and developing a sense of place.

The grand opening will last through the weekend. The Everyone’s Table and Old Chicago Pizza food trucks will be on site today, with Rat’s Woodwagon making an appearance tomorrow. Music will be playing throughout the weekend.
