Greeley venue plans solstice celebration

A Greeley venue that provides nature-based learning opportunities will be celebrating the solstice with a special breakfast.

The Poudre Learning Center Foundation will be hosting a Solstice Breakfast in celebration of the community spirit that thrives in the area. There will be an assortment of activities, and anyone who would like to make a contribution but cannot attend in person will be able to do so.

The plans for the morning include a hearty breakfast, and while they kick off their day, the ticketholders will learn from Center students about their experiences. They will also be given a sneak peek into the venue’s future plans. Participants will be invited to tour the grounds, and the sensory garden and river paths will be open to visitors.

Anyone who would like to submit their RSVP is asked to do so by no later than Thursday, June 13. Places are still available at the time of writing.

Nature-based learning encourages kids to take a break from screens and head outdoors. Fundraisers that support educational activities can often make good use of the printing services provided by area professionals.

The Poudre Learning Center Foundation has issued invitations to one and all to be part of its Solstice Breakfast fundraising morning, which will be getting started bright and early at 7:00 am on Thursday, June 20.
