Greeley plans forensics workshop

Those who work in the forensic field and who would like to make sure they are up to date in their skillset are welcome to register now for a learning opportunity in Greeley.

The Weld County Sheriff’s Office has retained the services of Bevel, Gardner and Associates to facilitate a workshop for those who work in the field. It will explore bloodstain analysis as part of an an in-person session.

During the workshop, instructor Tom Griffin will cover the topic of bloodstain analysis, offering tips that may be helpful to those conducting a forensic investigation. The learners will be able to ask questions and network with others in the field.

The text that will be used for the event will be “Bloodstain Pattern Analysis with an Introduction to Crime Scene Reconstruction.” It will be five days of learning, and everyone who registers is asked to bring along a scientific calculator if they have one.
