For 30 years, an activity has introduced Greeley residents to the wide variety of gardens that can be found in the community, and tickets for the outing are on offer now.
The Greeley Garden Tour will once again be offering an insider’s view of gardens throughout the city. There will be five properties in this year's installment, and they will each provide an example of how to make use of an outdoor space.
The Greeley Morning Garden Club will be the host for the day, and it will run for six hours. Tickets are $15 each, and all ages are welcome, with children age 12 and under being allowed to participate free of charge. Everyone who joins in the fun may want to make notes so they can apply what they have learned to their own garden, and passes are expected to sell out quickly.
The listing prepared for the occasion explained that the planners are welcoming applications to be part of next year’s tour. Stationery printers will be happy to prepare printed maps of a tour route, as well as promotional Pens and Notepads so the participants can jot down any notes they wish to make.
The 30th annual Greeley Garden Tour will be giving the inside scoop on local gardens on June 24. The properties will be open to visitors from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm.
