Greeley event to combine two forms of craft
An event that will combine beer and a chance to get creative is on tap for a Greeley summer afternoon.
Hosted by WeldWerks Brewing Company, ‘Paint a Planter’ will see up to 40 guests enjoy a tall cold one while they craft, and tickets are $35.
The ticket holders for the paint and sip will be invited to choose their favorite form a selection of five ceramic planters, and they will then use their own creative flair to make it their own. The materials for the project will all be included in the ticket price, and the event is scheduled to run from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The planter designs include a unicorn, vintage truck, mermaid, lama, and retro camper. The stencils, stamps, glazes, and other decorative accents will allow the attendees to create a truly unique piece, and these will be collected for firing when the event is over. They can be picked up at WeldWerks on July 29.
