Greeley awareness race hits 10th year
An event that gives a voice to abused children is currently accepting registrations, and in honor of its tenth anniversary, the fundraiser's organizers say it will be bigger and better than before.
The 10th Annual Superhero Run will see runners and walkers of all ages lace up their sneakers in support of Lifestories Child and Family Advocacy, and there are several participation options to choose from. The staging area will be located at the Greeley Funplex, and all support will be appreciated.
Those who are interested in getting involved can choose from a 10K, 5K or one-mile run, and a kids course is also in the works. Superhero-themed costumes are not mandatory, but to make the occasion as fun as possible, they are highly encouraged and prizes will be presented to the judges’ top choices. Those who would like to participate but cannot attend the function in person can make a donation, which will be most appreciated.
Fundraising walks and runs may be quite successful, and marketing them to the public will ensure that as many as possible are aware of when and where one will be held. A poster printing company will be able to lend a hand, and can also supply a full line of other print services.
The 10th annual Superhero Run will be on September 17. Anyone with questions or who would like to find out more about sponsoring or volunteering can contact the planner through the function's online listing.
