Sound bath experience to bring healing to Fort Collins

A sound bath healing experience will visit Fort Collins next month, providing the ideal setting for individuals seeking holistic health benefits.

At the Community Sound Bath, therapists and instructors will use wind gongs, singing bowls, and other healing instruments. The event will expose guests to different sounds and wavelengths designed to aid healing. Guests will start with a few minutes of intention setting and self-reflection before experiencing the various sounds and frequencies.

The course will teach attendees to slow their brain waves and enter a state of deep relaxation. The event’s instructor will be Lauren Smith, a 100-hour sound facilitator with extensive experience. Smith has hosted sound bath events and retreats around the state, helping countless Coloradans to explore healing opportunities. Business card printing is a fantastic way for instructors to network and spread awareness of their practice.

Attendees must bring their own yoga mats to participate in the event. A pillow and comfortable clothing are also recommended for the best experience. Guests are encouraged to arrive hydrated and to avoid consuming alcoholic beverages before taking part.

The Art Lab Fort Collins will host the sound bath on Wednesday, August 7, beginning at 7:30 PM and ending at 9:00 PM. Registration will open at 7:15 pm. Tickets are free, and interested parties can reserve a spot online.
