Fort Collins workshop to teach residents crafting skills

A seasonal crafting workshop is being organized in Fort Collins for next month, giving area artisans and interested parties the opportunity to pick up a new skill.

The Twist and Sparkle Ornament Art Class is around the corner, and Fort Collins residents with a passion for creating and learning are invited to sign up to create a personalized decoration. The class will be a hands-on learning experience, and students will receive instructions from an experienced guide throughout the session.

Students will learn how to create a beautiful ornament to place on the tree or gift to a friend or loved one. The materials used in the class will culminate in a decoration that blends copper, beads, and other eye-catching resources. Print shops can provide detailed and customized instruction sheets to enhance the learning experience for students enrolled in such workshops.

Lisa Winta, a local artist with over 20 years of experience with wirework, will be the class’s instructor. All necessary supplies and tools for the project will be included in the enrollment price. Interested parties are asked to come ready to create with a positive mindset, and dexterity is required for this learning experience.

Blue Moose Art Gallery in Fort Collins is hosting the ornament art class on Sunday, November 9. The class starts at 2:30 PM. Tickets are $30 per student online.
