Fort Collins artists and creatives will want to make a note in their Journals, as a holiday-themed workshop is making a stop in the area.
The Make and Paint Clay Holiday Gnomes workshop will start in a few weeks, offering interested parties an opportunity to learn the skills and steps of crafting and painting gnomes for home decor. The workshop will feature a collaboration between Flingin Pots and MythMaker Brewing, two Fort Collins staples.
Interested parties are encouraged to invite friends, and the course is open to artists of all skill levels. Each participant will create six-inch tall gnomes and learn to make creative embellishments to enhance the design. Upon completing the construction, students will paint the gnome to finish the design and gain a new decoration for the home. Brochure printing can help registered students at events like this to dive into the steps of creating gnomes to continue the hobby at home.
Flingin Pots will take the gnomes to their studio to fire them, and each will be ready to pick up after one month. All materials will be provided to students with the ticket prize, as well as a complimentary drink token.
