Fort Collins stages annual food event

A celebration of the Fort Collins dining community will take place this March.

Called Great Plates, the event returns for its 18th year. It was created by local restaurant owners and is an award-winning dining promotion and fundraiser. The proceeds earned from the event are donated to the Food Bank for Larimer County. Dining enthusiasts are encouraged to turn up happy and hungry to participate in the event.

All customers have to do to participate is indicate that they would like to take part in the promotion by informing the server at any participating restaurant. Having placed the order and enjoyed the meal, patrons can leave a donation for the Food Bank. The restaurant guides will be available as of February 14.

Each participating restaurant has its own menu specials, and will also indicate the hours each special is being offered. These specials will run for $25, with a la carte items for $2.50. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available. To see the restaurant map and guide, interested parties can visit the Downtown Fort Collins website.

In addition to restaurant guides, flyer printing is a form of Print media that can be used to advertise information to customers at events such as this.

The two-week culinary celebration will be held from Wednesday, March 1 until Tuesday, March 14 in Downtown Fort Collins, Colorado. Each day, the event will run from 5:00 pm until the restaurant or restaurants close.
