Star vocalist to perform in Denver

A singer, songwriter, and actor who rose to fame via “American Idol” will perform in Denver.

Adam Lambert has enjoyed immense success since 2009, thanks to his second place finish on “American Idol.” However, Lambert had been in showbusiness for years prior to appearing in the competition.

Lambert is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, but his family relocated to San Diego when he was still an infant. He loved music all his life, performing in local theaters as well as the Metropolitan Educational Theatre network. During his high school years, he sang in choirs and played in the jazz band. He landed his first professional gig when he was 19, singing on a cruise ship, and by the time he was 21, he was touring Europe as a cast member of “Hair,” the hit musical.

From 2001 until 2008, Lambert worked as a session singer and a frontman, and performed onstage, including understudying in “Wicked.” Then came “American Idol.” In his career, he has released five solo studio albums, one of which went to No. 1 on the charts, and another to No. 3. He’s also sold over three million albums and currently appears as the frontman for a Queen tribute band. A review says:
“Lambert can flat out sing - an exceptional talent with an on stage presence that has matured.”

Lambert will appear at the Ball Arena in Denver on Sunday, November 5. Concert organizers can publicize the event using poster printing.
