The 2026 Denver Mini Derby is coming to Denver this May, and horse racing fans and community members who want to experience something new will want to attend. The Mini Derby will feature live mini horse and corgi races, live music, and a big screen to watch the Kentucky Derby unfold at Churchill Downs.
Organizers are aiming to provide an event that blends southern charm and comfort with Rocky Mountain energy. The event venue will feature a large screen that allows guests to watch all the events, including the Race for the Roses. After the Kentucky Derby ends, all eyes will turn to the mini races, allowing the miniature horses to stretch their legs.
