Runners in Denver who want to show off their team spirit for the hometown teams are in luck, as a sports team-themed 5K is coming to a local cidery.
The Run for the Home Team 5K, which will be hosted by Waldschanke Ciders, has announced that registration is open online, with Denver runners encouraged to sign up and wear jerseys and Apparel of their favorite Denver teams. Participants are welcome to run, jog, or walk the course at the pace that they are comfortable at. The course will be open and mostly flat.
Upon completing the course, finishers will get to celebrate with a complimentary beverage from the host cidery. Finishers will also receive a commemorative glass pint glass or other merchandise. Promotional Products that are handed out at events like this can lead to impressions over several years, helping a brand build its image.
Runners will also have the chance to win prizes and hang out after the run ends to enjoy live music with like-minded individuals. Games are also expected to be part of the post-run festivities. A portion of the money raised through the 5K will benefit local non-profits.
Waldschanke Ciders + Coffee, located on Jason Street in Denver, will host the 5K and after-party. The run is scheduled for Saturday, September 19th, at 10:00 AM. Registration costs $41.83 per participant online.
