The spooky season is around the corner in the Mile High City, and area runners and joggers will have the chance to run a 5K in their favorite costumes to celebrate.
The Boos and Brews Halloween 5K, a part of the Colorado Brewing Running Series, will open registration in a few weeks to interested parties who want to walk, jog, or run toward the finish line with like-minded individuals. The Halloween 5K is an annual event, with participants encouraged to put together a costume, and judges giving awards to the best-dressed runners and walkers.
The run will not be timed, and interested parties of all fitness levels are invited to join in the fun. The path will be an open course, and participants are responsible for obeying all traffic rules and regulations. The run will be held rain or shine. Banner printing is an excellent promotional tool to support event sponsors at such runs while also providing a memorable way to welcome participants to the finish line.
Dogs and strollers are welcome on the course, though parents are asked to use caution. Participants will receive a complimentary beer upon crossing the finish line.
Number Thirty Eight in Denver will be the start and finish location for the 5K, which will start at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 25. Registration costs $41.83 per person online.
