A special event for fossil and mineral enthusiasts is scheduled for Denver.
The Colorado Mineral and Fossil Spring Show is a family-friendly, regional show that will bring about 85 dealers to Denver from all over the world. Attendees will be able to shop for opals, jewelry, fossils, meteorites, minerals, gemstones, and more.
Drawings will be held every hour on the hour on opening day only, with $100 Dealer Vouchers going to the winners. Since there are usually a large number of vendors at events like this, organizers can use flyer printing to create maps of the venue to help attendees find a specific display.
Denver is the perfect place for a fossil show, since many have been found in Colorado. For the last 150 years, collectors have supplied museums everywhere in the world with fossils from the state. During the past three decades, scientists have made amazing finds including three of the four largest dinosaurs in the world, and the bones of a tyrannosaurus rex.
The show is taking place from April 8 through April 10, at the Crown Plaza Hotel, located at Denver International Airport. Parking and admission are free. Hours are April 8 and 9 are from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm, and from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm on April 10. The drawings for Dealer Vouchers will be held from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm on April 8.
