Rock heavyweights to entertain in Denver

Two of rock’s superstars are coming to Denver.

Bryan Adams is bringing his So Happy It Hurts 2023 tour to the Mile High City, accompanied by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.

Adams has had a hugely successful career, selling between 75 and 100 million singles and albums globally and winning numerous awards. He garnered notice in 1983 when his album “Cuts Like a Knife,” hit the top ten on the charts. His 1984 release “Reckless,” was No. 1 in both Canada and the United States, and rocketed him to international stardom, with six singles charting. He has now released 15 albums, dropping “So Happy It Hurts” in 2022. A review says:

“. . . it is a testament that I am willing to travel the world to see this man perform.”

Joan Jett & The Blackhearts began by playing gigs in California, then toured Europe. They recorded for a year, shook up the line-up, and released “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll,” their smash album, in 1981. The title track perched at No. 1 for seven weeks straight, and is one of Billboard’s top 100 songs of all time. The group’s latest album is 2022’s “Changeup.”

A review says:

“Joan Jett put on a great kick-ass rock show that proved why she is one of the original queens and pioneers of women in rock!”

The concert is set for July 6 at Denver’s Ball Arena. Organizers of events like this can use poster printing to advertise them.
