Runners and beer lovers have an enjoyable event on the calendar next month, as a 5K Fun Run is being organized for the Denver area to raise money for the local community.
The Waldschänke Ciders 5K is ready to start with a bang as a continuation of the ongoing Colorado Brewery Running Series. Runners are invited to lace their shoes and enroll. Attendees who register and complete the course will receive a complimentary beer or cider for their efforts.
To limit congestion, the run will have two start times: one group will start at 10:00 AM, and the other will leave the start line at 10:30 AM. Registered runners are asked to avoid arriving more than 30 minutes early for their selected start time. Banner printing is a colorful and memorable way to welcome runners to the finish line while displaying sponsors’ logos.
In addition to the complimentary beer or cider, runners who complete the 5K will receive a collector’s pint glass, the opportunity to win door prizes, and access to live music and food trucks. The event has raised over $140,000 for Colorado non-profits to aid local communities.
Waldschänke Ciders and Coffees will be the host site for the 5K fun run, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 14. Registration costs $35 per runner, and interested parties can arrange reservations for the run online.
