A hugely popular rocker is coming to Denver and bringing friends along.
Chris Daughtry rose to fame when he was a finalist on American Idol’s fifth season, which aired in 2006. Although he did not win, his rendition of “Hemorrhage in My Hands” by Fuel led that band to offer him the job as their frontman. He declined, and formed his own band, Daughtry, in 2006. They released their self-titled debut album that year and saw it climb to the top of the Billboard 200 chart.
Last year saw the release of the band’s sixth album, “Dearly Beloved,” their first in three years. A return to the group’s original hard rock and post-grunge sound, it proved to be the final record to feature bass player Josh Paul, who departed the band last month.
A review of the band says:
"High energy show, lots of variety. Sang their hits, did several outstanding covers."
Joining Daughtry for the show are Travis Bracht, and Tremonti. A fan of the latter says Tremonti:
“. . . is a true professional performer. If you like rock-n-role as I do, Tremonti is a must see.”
Daughtry and his friends will be at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver on March 14 at 7:00 pm. Often, when events like this are scheduled, organizers will use poster printing to create advertising to bring audiences to the performance.
