Denver awaits Polar Express
The Colorado Railroad Museum will host the 2020 Polar Express, starting in just a few weeks.
The famous story will be theatrically performed in this family-friendly event in Denver, as residents and visitors board the train and begin the ride.
The cast looks forward to introducing Smokey the Steamer and explaining how the locomotive works on steam. Guests will be invited to step aboard and begin their holiday celebration.
Children will have the opportunity to meet Santa and then enjoy the sounds of the classic tale surrounding them. Guests are encouraged to wear pajamas, done a fashionable mask, and head over to the museum to begin an evening of holiday cheer.
The song “Hot, Hot, Hot-Chocolate” will come alive as attendees enjoy their hot cocoa and festive cookies. Dancing and singing performances will have everyone joining in. As the train approaches the “North Pole,” Santa and elves will pop into view, with Mr. Claus distributing the first gift of Christmas just like in the story.

The Denver Polar Express train rides will begin November 7 and run on a special schedule through December 23. Tickets can be purchased based on availability by date via the event website.
