Pretty Girl to appear in Denver

A singer/songwriter whose appearances on social media kicked off her career will be in Denver soon.

Margaret Elizabeth (Maggie) Lindemann made her breakthrough in 2016 with her hit single “Pretty Girl.” The song made it to the No. 6 spot in Ireland, No. 4 in Sweden, and No. 8 in both the Netherlands and the United States. Her success with this effort led her to modify her sound, incorporating alt-rock and punk into her music. Her new approach was showcased in the 2021 EP “Paranoia,” and “Suckerpunch,” her first album, which she dropped in 2022.

A native of Dallas, Lindemann posted her musical performances on the Keek app. Her work here, as well as on other sites, gained her a following and got her noticed by her manager, Gerald Tennison, who saw her efforts on Instagram. She left Texas for Los Angeles to focus on music.

Lindemann released several singles before breaking through with “Pretty Girl.” Her debut was the 2015 song “Knocking On Your Heart,” which she followed with “Couple of Kids” that same year. In January 2016, she dropped “Things,” and then released the song on her YouTube channel a month later.

A concert review says:

". . . . Maggie Lindemann is a force of nature, and I know she will soon take over the punk/rock world."

Lindemann will be at the Bluebird Theater in Denver on March 30. Organizers of events like this can create effective advertising using poster printing.
