The members of Glass Animals have known each other since they were 14-year-olds in Oxford, England. However, they were high school graduates before they got together as performers. Their debut came in 2012, when they released the EP “Leaflings,” a start that gave listeners an idea of the groundbreaking psych/pop sound they were developing, and for which they have since become known.
Paul Epworth, the producer behind such giants as Florence and the Machine, noticed the upcoming group in 2013 and signed them, and helped them release their self-titled EP that same year. The effort solidified their sound and gave them the opportunity to tour with another visionary pop artist, St. Vincent. After a series of hit performances on tour, Glass Animals released their full-length, debut album “Zaba” to critical acclaim.
Glass Animals’ sound is a blend of electronica, trip-hop, and indie-rock that promoters say is best enjoyed as a live performance. When events like this are scheduled, organizers can use brochure printing to create programs.
