Huge prehistoric show in Denver

The state of Colorado is known for the fossils found here, such as North America’s biggest dinosaur trackway, and some of the largest dinosaurs in the world, so it is fitting that Denver has a fossil show on its schedule.

The Colorado Mineral & Fossil Fall Show will be held at the Crowne Plaza Denver Airport Convention Center on East 40th Street. Visitors to this nine-day event will be able to see the items displayed by more than 170 wholesale and retail vendors. Among the items will be crystals, petrified wood, dinosaur fossils, home décor, hand-crafted jewelry, meteorites, fossils, minerals, and more.

Dealers will be coming from throughout the nation and around the world to share their merchandise with attendees. Among those scheduled to attend are Gold Nugget Australia, H.K. Meteorites, and Raj Minerals Inc.

The show opens September 9 and closes September 17. The hours are the same each day, with the doors opening at 10:00 am and closing at 6:00 pm for retail sales. Wholesalers will be able to enter one hour earlier, at 9:00 am, but will also close at 6:00 pm. The final day will end at 4:00 pm. Parking and admission are free, and talks by guest speakers are planned.

An event of this size can be overwhelming for attendees, so organizers can help them by using flyer printing to create maps listing the vendors and their booths.
