The 11th Annual 1940s White Christmas Ball will take place in Denver to see in this weekend. The event is hosted by 1940s Ball NFP and celebrates the holiday season in a ‘40s and ‘50s setting.
Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the 1946 Christmas Movie “It’s a Wonderful Life,” the theme will be set accordingly. A special treat for guests, ZuZu Bailey, who played Karolyn Grimes in the movie will be joining the party. Photo opportunities will be available.
The lights will sparkle, the music will be festive, and guests can dance the night away. The setting will include vehicles from the 1940s and 1950s, canopy lights, sleighs, and, of course, Christmas trees.
A recreation of the movie stage from White Christmas will also be part of the festivities. A Count your Blessings lounge with a fireplace will be included along with a WWII scene from that movie.
Some top bands scheduled to perform include Satin Dollz, Jukebox Saturday Night, Dandy Wellington, and Joe Smith and the Spicy Pickles. Other performers on the agenda include The Hot Tomatoes Dance Orchestra, Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra, the Flyboys with the Denver Dolls, and Bianca.
Poster printing is often ordered to create visual scenery to highlight features of an event. The Posters can be in bright colors with images, graphics, and fun content.
The party will take place this Friday, December 3, starting at 4:00 pm at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center.
