Banana celebration brings bunch of fun to Denver

A quirky festival is in the works for Denver residents, as a banana festival is being planned to add to the September celebrations in town.

The Bananasfest 2024 is set to kick off in downtown Denver, and interested parties seeking a memorable and unique event are invited to join. The Bananas Podcast is organizing the event in conjunction with Gum Pop Presents for the first-ever festival.

The Banana Boys and Bananimals will lead the celebrations, which will be a day of silliness and socialization with like-minded individuals who are ready to party. The festival will include sessions for friendship speed dating, dog parades, an obstacle course, and a dunk tank.

Local vendors will also be on hand to display their goods and crafts to festival attendees. Business Cards can help these vendors and local businesses swap contact information with target audience members to generate more commerce.

Food trucks will attend to provide snacks and meals, and a live DJ will entertain and provide music for dancing and enjoying the atmosphere. Custom merchandise will also be for sale at the festival, with B Fresh Gear collaborating to offer shirts, hats, and more.

The festival will be held in the historic Larimer Square on Saturday, September 7, starting at 11:00 AM and running until 6:00 PM. Drink token packages cost $35, and general admission is free. Guests can RSVP online.
