Unique concert experience for San Rafael
A new and exciting take on an album never played live by the original artist will be performed in San Rafael in late November. Poster printing is often used to promote musical events like this one.
The White Album by The Beatles was released in 1968. The group never played any of the songs from this record at a concert themselves. For the first time, the album will be the focus of a show with a twist. The proceeds will go to benefit music programs in schools, as well as providing instructors, instruments, and scholarships. The scholarships will be used for the students of Sac Prep. The charity organization is The Beatles Guitar Project.
This concert experience will use a 40-person orchestra, as well as a choir and guest singers. The music was scored and transcribed in order to make it possible for the songs to be performed in this elaborate celebration.
Proof of being fully vaccinated or a negative Covid-19 test result is required in order to attend the show at the Marin Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium. Wearing a face covering is required to be done at all times when inside the venue.
Tickets range from $42 to $102, which is the price with fees included. A ticket can be purchased through the Marin Center website.
The show is set for November 27th, starting at 7:30pm.
