The Marin Humane Society is hosting its 10th-anniversary gala next month in San Rafael.
The evening will start off with an animal ambassador's reception where guests will get to meet and have their pictures taken with some of the creatures that are up for adoption. This will be followed by a three-course vegetarian meal, a live auction, music, and dancing. Special guests will also be telling stories about local animals and the people who have helped them.
This event will bring many important people in the community together who are interested in animal welfare. The Marin Human Society provides a range of services to the community, including low-cost spaying and neutering, a veterinary clinic, humane education in the schools and other locations, and animal licensing.
Attendees have the opportunity to honor their late pets in the event program for $500; this includes two tickets to the event. A San Rafael brochure printing firm may be asked to provide the event program that will be given out to everyone who buys tickets.
The anniversary gala will be held at the Clubhouse of Peacock Gap on March 5 from 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Tickets are $200 each or $1,900 for a table of 10. Contact the Marin Humane Society at 415-506-6208 to learn more about this event and the services and programs provided for animals.
