San Rafael to showcase local talents
A market and festival containing local treasures is set to take place in San Rafael in late September.
This event will have over 300 different stalls to shop from. There will be a wide variety of items, such as clothing, bags, records, accessories, food, pet care, and houseware. Many of these unique finds will be handmade or vintage. Sponsors will also be able to have booths, and there will be opportunities to sport their company logo design. Some may also choose to bring along their products.
Music and art installations will also make their additions to the atmosphere. Bands who are just starting out or are on the smaller side in popularity are going to be featured as the talent. The art pieces will include collaborations as well as themes that will raise eyebrows.
A lounge area will be set up on the lawn, along with craft beer, cocktails, and wine.
The event has moved from its previous home of Treasure Island to the Marin Center. Tickets will be $20 until August 31st, then they will cost $25. Kids who are five or younger may attend for free. Pets who are on leashes and well-mannered are also welcome.
The festival will take place on September 18th & 19th. Both days will start at 10:00am, with the 18th ending at 6:00pm, and the 19th ending at 5:00pm.
