San Rafael to host camp for kids

A San Rafael services company will be hosting a camp over the course of a few days in late February.

The Mid-Winter Break Camp is an event with several age groups. The Marinwood Community Services District has opened the program to children who are aged four to eleven. This age range is broken down into three groups. The kids aged four to six will be a part of Camp Bunny Slope, those who are six to seven will join Camp Snowshoe, and the oldest children, aged eight to eleven, will be a part of Camp Bobsled. Flyer printing is often used when promoting camps.

Campers will get the opportunity to explore the forest, play a bunch of games, try out different sports, as well as make a ton of crafts. Parents need to pack jackets/sweatshirts, lunch, snacks, water, closed-toed shoes, a mask, and a bag or backpack for their child or children. If there is a sign of rain, clothing for this should be packed. Staff ask that belongings are labeled, and that things like toys are left at home. Kids who are attending the event must be potty trained. Face coverings are currently required while indoors.

Parents will need to bring their campers to the check-in location each day, as well as sign a waiver for their children to participate.

The camp will cost $208 for area residents, and $244 for non-residents. There is a $20 discount for those who are entering more than one child. After camp care is $64.

The event will run from February 22nd to February 25th, from 9:00am to 3:00pm each day. After care will last from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
