San Rafael show to benefit local organization
Next month, a concert in San Rafael will be paying tribute to music legends while also helping a local organization. This will take place in mid April.
The Sun Kings: A Tribute to the Beatles will serve as the first show in the venue’s Music At the Mansion Benefit Concert Series. The Sun Kings consist of Scott Southard, Steve Scarpelli, Drew Harrison, and Bruce Coe, with each member taking on the vocals of one of the Beatles, as well as the instruments. The group has taken home several awards for their work. A few of the songs they have performed and recorded from The Beatles include “Eight Days A Week,” “Glass Onion,” “Come Together,” “Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da,” “Nowhere Man,” “Revolution,” “Daytripper,” and “Ticket To Ride.”
The proceeds from this event will go to Family House San Francisco, a charity that provides housing to families of kids fighting life-threatening illnesses such as cancer. Donations can be given through the organization’s website, checks, cryptocurrency, toy drives, vehicles, and more. Details on all the options are available on the “Ways to give” section of their website.
Tickets can be found through allevents.in, coming in at a $30 price tag prior to fees. The venue is the San Rafael Elks Lodge, with the show being held outside. Merchandise with the performer’s logo design is often put up for sale at concerts like this. The show is currently scheduled to run from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm on April 14.
