San Rafael set for Shatner appearance
Residents of San Rafael and the surrounding area will have a chance to see William Shatner and engage in a fan-led Q&A session.
The event will begin with a screening of the second Star Trek Movie ‘The Wrath of Khan’. The movie will begin at 7:30 pm and runs a little shy of two hours. After the movie, Shatner will take the stage and speak about his career, focusing especially on his portrayal of Captain James T. Kirk in the original Star Trek television series and subsequent movies. Shatner has worked as an actor, writer, director, and producer throughout his career.
There will be an audience-led Q&A session after all of this, giving fans a chance to ask their questions. Tickets for this event are currently on sale, and begin at $39.75 and go up from there depending on the seat. The event will be held at the Marin Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium, on Avenue of the Flags. The theater seats about 2,000 people at a time.
