The 8th Annual Venetia Valley School Fall Carnival and Supply Drive has been scheduled for later this year in San Rafael.
The annual event features a day of activities, including delicious food, takeout, kids’ fun and games, live entertainment, henna tattoos, and face painting. CrossFit gymnastics will be offered as well.
With prizes up for grabs, attendees will want to get their hands on the likes of a Nintendo Wii, a bike, or a $500 cash prize.
The Carnival and Supply Drive provides important goals for the school. Raising money for supplies and activities ensures the school provides the resources to ensure the best learning environment for the children.
The teachers will have “wish lists” on Amazon and Lakeshore Learning noting the supplies needed for their classrooms. Parents and families can view the lists and make purchases for the teachers of their choice.
In addition to raising money and obtaining donated supplies, the Carnival and Supply Drive brings the community together to enjoy a day of socializing and having fun. Attendees have the opportunity to learn about the school, get involved, and support the local students.
Local Print companies can be contacted to produce the materials needed for events of this nature. Poster printing is a common request as they are used to market the event to increase awareness and enhance participation.
