San Rafael event highlights popular instrument
A showcase event in San Rafael will be providing access to experts on a musical instrument in mid-January.
Amigo Bay Area Guitar Show is an expo where attending guests can not only shop from reputable vendors, but also bring their own items to sell or trade with the vendors or other shoppers.
There will be appraisal experts to give everyone an idea of what value their items and instruments have, which will allow the owners to make an educated decision on what they do with them. Repairmen will be around to fix up any damaged pieces, while builders will be able to take orders for new instruments. Manufacturers big and small, as well as retail companies, will also have their booths.
In addition to guitars, other instruments are welcome. Items outside of instruments that are also able to be sold, bought, and traded include amps and other sound equipment, clothing, memorabilia, records, accessories, parts, and books.
Entry is $25, a fee that can be paid at the showcase. Those age 11 or younger may enter without cost, providing they are with an adult who paid for a ticket. Flyer printing often gives an easier form of advertising for expos, allowing attending vendors to promote in their local areas.
The Marin Civic Exhibit Hall will have the doors open from 10:00am to 5:00pm on January 13th, and 10:00am to 4:00pm on January 14th. A VIP edition with a $200 price will be held January 12th, between 12:00pm and 5:00pm.
