San Rafael Criterium returns July 7, 2012
Famous for the intensity of this extreme cycling sport with excitement and craziness mixed together for the past 13 years, this year’s San Rafael Criterium, slated for July 7th, is sure not to disappoint.
Set in a carnival-like atmosphere, thousands of spectators attend this super cycling sport. The Criterium consists of speed racing at over 30 mph on a bicycle utilizing a multi-lap, tightly closed track. The course is set up where media and spectators have better than normal viewing availability. The course begins in downtown San Rafael on 4th Street, turning on D Street, turning again on 5th Street and then on A Street back to 4th Street.
The San Rafael Expo is divided into two areas: North side between 4th and 5th Streets and South side between 3rd and 4th Streets. Partners with Project Sport will be hosting many of the exhibit booths showing new products. Food vendors will also be found along the way and at the expo. Project Sport is a marketing company based in San Francisco with ownership in the event as well as organizational responsibility.
Print companies will be busy providing printing services to this huge San Rafael event including, banner printing, poster printing and flyer printing.
Other attractions at this event include a beer garden at C Street and Pro Athlete Village located on 4th Street.
