The 6th annual Other Cafe Comedy Show is taking place this New Year's Eve in San Rafael. A portion of the proceeds will go to support the Marin Food Bank and One Warm Coat.
There is set to be a pre-event with a cash bar and snacks available for purchase. It will be followed by the show, which stars six stand-up comedians, two of whom are from the San Francisco area, and another two of whom are nationally known.
After the show, there will be a party that is set to feature a countdown to midnight on the big screen with the comics and free champagne for all ticket holders.
Those who are planning to attend are asked to bring nonperishable food items or a lightly used coat to donate to the two organizations.
It is likely that the tickets for the event and any Print advertising or promotional Brochures, will be provided by a professional printing company in San Rafael.
The Other Cafe Comedy Showcase will be held at the Kanbar Center for the Performing Arts on December 31, beginning at 9:00 pm that evening.
