Marin Shakespeare Company posts summer schedule
The Marin Shakespeare Company has recently posted its summer schedule line-up of performances from July through September. The majority of performances will take place at the San Rafael Forest Meadows Amphitheatre in Northern California.
‘The Spanish Tragedy’ will kick off the season July 5 - August 11, with the story exploring the tragic events triggered by revenge. The play has been compared to Shakespeare’s ‘Titus Andronicus’ and ‘Hamlet’, and is believed to be a blended inspiration.
‘A Comedy of Errors’ will be featured July 19 - September 29, with a bit of a spin from the original play. Using a Wild West adaptation, the play incorporates Abilene and Amarillo at war along with crazy cowboy antics and various adventures.
The very popular ‘All’s Well that Ends Well’ will perform August 16 - September 29. A complex yet witty comedy features infatuation and misunderstanding.
In addition to regular plays, The Marin Shakespeare Company offers a range of outreach and educational programs. After school classes are offered, as well as summer camps. The Actor Intern Program involves a professional training opportunity for college age students interested in developing their acting.
Student matinees are offered in September for groups from various community schools. The winter months will bring free Teen Touring Company events and performances to the venue.
Printing services are frequently utilized to produce promotional materials for theatrical events. Poster printing is effective for distribution of the posters throughout the community for awareness and attendance increase.
