Farmers' market will celebrate Valentine's Day

The St. Valentine's Day Festival and Farmers' Market is taking place next month in Marin County.

There are set to be several special events happening at the market during the weekend. To celebrate St. Valentine's Day, the Rose Cottage will return and people will be able to pick up short and long stem roses for their special someone. Potted roses are also available.

The market will feature art, tulip bouquets for sale, and sugar cookie decorating. There will be entertainment aimed at children, and activities such as face painting and pony rides. An old-time photo stand will also be set up.

On Valentine's Day itself, the 3rd annual Valentine Milonga tango party will take place. Last year's event included dinner, wine, live music, and tango lessons, and everyone also received a red rose. More information will be released about this year's shortly.

This local farmers’ market regularly draws visitors from all over Marin County, including nearby San Rafael. Vendors likely invest in marketing services such as flyer and banner printing to get more attention.

The Valentine's Day Festival and Farmers' Market will be held at the Marin Country Mart on February 13 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. Admission is free. Rose Cottage will be open from February 13 to 14. The Valentine Milonga takes place under the Big Tent on February 14 from 6:30 pm - 11:00 pm.
