Exhibition to highlight San Rafael makers
A market set for early November in San Rafael is set to display work from a large number of local artisans.
The Marin Arts & Crafts Show is an event that runs over the course of three days. Crafters, small production shops, and artists gather to show off and sell their products. These include items like jewelry, candy, pottery/ceramics, paintings, candles, seasonings, metal sculptures, crystals, fabric, apparel, wine, soap, cards, glass pieces, bags, and tea. Vendors will be set up with booths throughout the event space.
Interactive experiences are also available at different times throughout each day. The types of workshops include bracelet making, jewelry repair, watercolor for kids, and decorative painting. Costs for these lessons vary depending on the skill level and materials required. Registration can be done through the event website or at the show’s doors. Each will be led by different instructors.
Admission to the exhibition is free, but registration is required of people aged 18 or older. This can be done at the event or through the website. Flyer printing is often used in promotion of exhibits like this one.
The venue is the Marin Center Exhibit Hall, and the show will run from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm this Friday and Saturday, November 4 and 5, and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday, November 6.
