A yearly festival will be beginning in late June in San Rafael, with the end date extending into early July.
The Marin County Fair is an event that runs for five days. In this time, attendees are able to go on rides, visit and participate in competitive exhibitions, shop from a marketplace, enjoy food, and dance to a variety of music. The theme for this year is “So Happy Together.”
Entertainment will be on the move, with performers like stilt walkers and jugglers navigating the fairgrounds. Both the Plein Air Contest and the Agriculture Competitions will be in person at the event, although other competitions will remain virtual due to the ongoing pandemic.
The market pushes to be environmentally beneficial by asking all vendors to put samples in compostable dishes, or their other products in Bags that can be reused or biodegraded. Many businesses often have Promotional Products at similar events.
There are rides, games, and music for all ages. Reserved concert tickets for headlining shows are $60. Admission to the fair is $20 for veterans, kids aged four to 12, and seniors aged 65, or older. Teens and adults will have to pay $25. Those younger than aged four, as well as active military members, are granted free entry. Seniors and kids aged 12 or younger will be given free entry on the first day of the fair as well.
The carnival will run from June 30 to July 4, located at Marin County Fair And Exposition. Each day will run from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.
