The Marin Women's Hall of Fame 2016 Induction and Celebration dinner is taking place at the end of this month in San Rafael, presented by the YWCA San Francisco and Marin.
The evening will start off with a reception featuring a cash bar where attendees will have the opportunity to network with their peers. It will be followed by dinner and the induction program. This year, five women are being inducted into the Hall of Fame, including Verna Adams, Barbara Morrison, and Florence Williams.
Since the inception of the Hall of Fame in 1988, 125 women have been inducted. In order to qualify, each woman must have made a substantial difference and improvement to the life of Marin County.
This is no doubt one of the biggest networking events for women in Marin County. It is likely that several of those planning to attend will be thinking about placing a new business card printing order with their favorite San Rafael Print companies.
The awards and dinner will be held at the Peacock Gap Clubhouse on March 31 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Tickets are $110 and people can also donate a ticket to someone who may not be able to afford one for $95. Tables of 10 are available for $1,150.
