Word, book, and art fair coming up in Rancho Cucamonga

Women with Voices will be holding a book fair this month in Rancho Cucamonga, the second such event in as many years.

This year’s event, which will take place at the Rancho Cucamonga Community Center, will feature an even larger list of inspirational speakers, artist and authors. They will provide spoken word presentations and panel discussions, and partake in book signings.

Comedian Mel Austin will MC the event again this year. Blended Sounds of Joy will be giving special performances with Ty Scott King and Brittany Abraham, who are spoken-word artists. Psalmist Thumbalina Jenae Valle and Marlo Wells, a jazz artist, will also perform. A flyer or poster printing to promote the event could provide more detailed information.

The Women with Voices founder, Rena Neal, is quoted at InlandEmpire.US saying:

“We’re building upon our success from last year. It’s truly amazing to see your vision become reality. I’m encouraged by the support we’ve received and the growing list of dynamic authors and artists that will be featured.”

An organization formed with the goal of helping aspiring women poets, readers, writers, and bloggers, Women with Voices offers women a chance to share their testimony to encourage others. Vendors or authors interested in participating may reach Women with Voices for more information at (909) 559-6662

The event takes place on Saturday, September 30. Tickets may be purchased for $5 through Eventbrite.
