This May, San Antonio Regional Hospital in Rancho Cucamonga will host the Young Healthcare Professionals Summit for highschoolers interested in a healthcare career.
The Young Healthcare Professionals Summit is a one-day event to help high schoolers earn BLS certification. It will be a free summit open to up to 50 highschoolers in grades 10 through 12 who are interested in learning how to build disaster resiliency, learn life-saving skills, and connect with their community. The event will allow them to connect with industry leaders, explore potential career pathways, and grow in a professional capacity.
To attend, students will need to complete the registration form and submit all required documentation (a list of which will be sent after Step 1 of registration is completed). A confirmation email will be sent verifying that all documentation has been received. If the event reaches capacity, those interested can be put on a waitlist.
Career preparation events like this will often encourage attendees to bring professionally printed Forms of CVs or resumes to share with facilitators. Local Print shops in their area can help with printing these materials.
The Young Healthcare Professionals Summit is scheduled to take place on May 2, beginning at 10:00 a.m. It will be held at Homecoming at Terra Vista, located at11660 Church Street, Rancho Cucamonga. There is no cost to attend.
