Math education planned for Rancho Cucamonga teachers

Educators from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade will have an opportunity to strengthen instructional practices during a three-day professional development program scheduled in Rancho Cucamonga this summer.

The program centers on foundational concepts associated with the Building Thinking Classrooms framework. Designed primarily for educators who are new to the methodology, the sessions will introduce techniques intended to promote deeper engagement and encourage students to take a more active role in learning mathematics.

Organizers state that the institute will provide all required instructional materials. Lunch will be supplied each day, and parking will be available at no additional cost. Morning check-in is scheduled to begin with coffee service before the formal sessions start, allowing attendees time to network and prepare for the day’s activities.

In addition to the instructional content, participants who complete all three days of training will have the option to purchase one Continuing Education Learning (CEL) unit following the event. The additional academic credit is available for $105 and requires full attendance throughout the institute.

Registration for the program is priced at $350 per participant for the full three-day experience. Districts utilizing purchase orders may coordinate registration directly with organizers through an established approval process.

As with many educational conferences and training programs, organizers often use printing services to create instructional materials, schedules, signage and participant resources.

The 2026 Summer Institute Rancho Cucamonga will take place July 13th to 15th, from 8:30 am 3:00 pm daily at the West End Educational Service Center, 8265 Aspen Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, California.
