For the third year in a row, a golfing fundraiser will occur in Rancho Cucamonga to help benefit the Color guard and band programs at Upland High School. Both programs have won awards, and funds collected from the golf classic will be used to support both of these programs.
The Upland Highland Regiment Boosters Golf Classic is scheduled to take place in just over a month’s time. Players will tee off at the Rancho Cucamonga Red Hill Country Club.
Sponsors and players are still being sought for the golf tournament fundraiser, and range from tee sponsors at $125 to title sponsors at $5,000. Sponsors for the golf tournament help to defray the cost of the event for the Upland High School. Events and activities such as fundraisers are generally advertised through methods of flyer printing or poster printing to raise awareness and help draw in sponsors, participants and visitors.
With the event set for April 22, check-in and registration will begin at 9:30 am, and a shotgun start will kick off the start of the golf classic. The day will conclude at 5:00 pm with an awards ceremony.
Other activities planned for the golf tournament fundraising event include live and silent auctions, a hole-in-one contest, and various door prizes. Those who would like to play in the tournament can find out how to get involved by visiting the high school’s website. Those interested in becoming a sponsor should also contact the Upland High School for details.
