Rancho Cucamonga nonprofit to host back-to-school giveaway

Nonprofits Goal Achiever and Keeping the Faith Foundation will partner up this August to host the 1st Annual Back-to-School Giveaway to support K through 12 Rancho Cucamonga students.

Goal Achiever and Keeping the Faith Foundation were both founded in memory of Terri Large, who passed away at 18 of a rare brain tumor, but had made incredible educational achievements in her 18 years of life. Goal Achiever works to give back to schools in the form of scholarship awards and charity donations. Keeping the Faith Foundation is a nonprofit that provides scholarships specifically to students with cancer and survivors of cancer.

The giveaway event will benefit all K through 12 students in the area. There will be Backpacks of supplies given away, as well as fun raffles that may include Promotional Products and other prizes from local sponsors. While this is an in-person event, parents who are out of the area or state and cannot attend with their children can register as an out-of-area/state attendee and their child will be eligible for raffle giveaways. To redeem these prizes, however, the individual must be present on the event’s life channel via social media.

The giveaway is scheduled for August 12 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. It will take place at Red Hill Park, which is located at 7484 Vineyard Avenue.
