Throughout July, STEM Center USA in Rancho Cucamonga will host Early STEM Camp, an educational program targeted at towards teaching young children the basics of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
STEM Center USA was founded to provide specialized, hands-on STEM programs for K-12 students. The organization hosts carefully curated and custom designed classes weekly at its Robotics Creativity Centers located in Rancho Cucamonga and Claremont. It also provides virtual programming professional development, and custom learning kits.
The Early STEM Camp is a weeklong camp for kindergarteners and first graders, with camp dates running throughout the month of July. It aspires to nourish young students' curiosity about STEM topics by using hands-on exploration of STEM concepts, such as the tech concepts of motion, force, direction, pendulum, and pivots. Students will engage their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination as they participate in activities such as building and designing simple machines. All camp technology will be provided, so students need only to bring a reusable water bottle and snack for snack time each day.
Workshops for children often include various visual learning materials, such as Posters, which can be printed in bulk at local Print shops specializing in poster printing.
The first July camp is scheduled for July 5 through July 8. It will take place at 11799 Sebastian Way, Suite 101, Rancho Cucamonga. Class registration is $285.
