Rancho Cucamonga hike explores backyard wilderness

Women hikers in Rancho Cucamonga looking for an adventure in their own backyard should note that Adventure Pea will host the Women’s Hike to Etiwanda Falls next month.

Adventure Pea is headed by Nikki Taylor, a hiking guide and outdoors enthusiast who specializes in hosting outdoor activities, such as guided hikes. Trained in maps and navigation and certified in Wilderness First Aid, Nicki utilizes her expertise and knowledge to help people find their own adventures. The hike happening in July will be specifically for women-identifying individuals and will take attendees to a beautiful waterfall in their own backyard.

The hike will traverse the Etiwanda Falls Trail, which true to its name, leads to the Etiwanda Falls. Hikers will travel 1.6 miles, beginning at the North Etiwanda Preserve and ending at the falls, which is nestled in a canyon in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains. The difficult level of the trail is described as easy to moderate.

Even in this digital age, outdoor activities such as this may make use of printed navigation materials, such as maps or Brochures, to assist participants in the event. Organizers interested in printing such materials in bulk may visit their local Print shops specializing in brochure printing and similar services.

The hike is slated for July 5, from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm. The starting location is Etiwanda Avenue.
