Rancho Cucamonga area event informs on fair housing practices

The California Association of Realtors (C.A.R.) will host the C.A.R.'s Third Annual Fair Housing Day 2024 in Ontonio next month, nearby Rancho Cucamonga.

The Fair Housing Day event exists to inform the state’s realtors about the expansive, complex, and constantly changing Fair Housing laws that are in effect or are expected to go into effect. The event will feature a host of fair housing experts who will speak on topics related to housing discrimination, inclusive advertising, algorithmic and AI bias in tech, and other relevant issues. The conference will prepare realtors for how to help as many Californians as possible achieve the dream of homeownership.

The conference will include a keynote speech by George Fatheree, the founder and CEO of ORO Impact. This is a social impact Fintech venture with the mission of decreasing the wealth gap by improving access to help with down payments for more Californians. The conference is free is all C.A.R. members, while the keynote lunch will require a fee.

Conferences like this often offer attendees plenty of opportunities to network with their fellow peers, and these networking activities may take the form of exchanging Business Cards.

The fair housing event is scheduled for April 16 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will be held at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Ontario Airport located at 222 North Vineyard Avenue, Ontario, just minutes from Rancho Cucamonga.
